Looking for green but still seeing bare. Enjoying his first normal set of shifts in a long time. Pizza English muffins are calling.

I'm happy to see the snow disappear. I want to see her run in the grass.

I've wanted to make a butterfly collage for a long time now. One day I just did it. A collection of scrap paper, a punch, and glue.

It's been warm enough to hang out on our patio at midday. I love that she likes the chalk drawing.

They tasted pretty good for March strawberries. I really like this 100mm macro lens.

My second Buttercup Bag. Love this pattern. I used fusible interface for the first time, with this bag, so it's nice and sturdy. Thought it looked nice with her boots.

My first batch of homemade play dough. She didn't really know what to do with it but like the worms I made with it.

It's so nice to have a piece of bright green in the kitchen. I've been thinking a lot about grass. Wondering if it really still exists under the snow.

She's sick again. Man-sized boogers and all congested. We had a rough night. Hopefully tonight will be a little better.

Trying to find a good setup for taking photos of the aprons. It makes me want real hardwood floors instead of laminate and white walls. Just for taking photos.

He called me to get my camera and this is what I found. She usually reads during diaper changes, but this book is a little bigger than the usuals.

When she wants to be goofy, she sticks out her tongue.

She puts things into other things and drags them around, like her favourite Clifford dog. Our house is a maze of socks, board books, shoes, and Cheerios.

She loves these pants. I held her up by the mirror so she could see the kitty on her butt.

Waiting at the gate in the family room for Daddy. Sometimes we put extra clothes on her because it's been cold and drafty here. (-20 cold)

So, she wants to feed herself. Of course, this had to happen at some point. She's actually pretty good, but she really likes stirring the food, and overloading the spoon.

She loves reading this book I made with family photos. She calls it "hi-da" because her favourite photos are Daddy. She almost cried when I took off her tutu.

This is probably the only thing that looks like Spring around these parts. We're still under at least a foot of snow (though it melts on the roads).

She loves scrambled eggs with cheese and spinach. I wonder when I'll have to hide veggies in her food.

Now that she can chew (mostly, but she'd prefer to just swallow) she can eat fun snacks like these tiny penguin crackers. Now I bring snacks with me everywhere.

I'm really enjoying these long winter shadows on our walls. It sort of makes up for so much snow and more snow.

He brought me the best looking roses. I love the part where they curl in tight. xoxo

I went to the lake to take pictures. It was utterly quiet. Could have seemed extra quiet because I didn't bring the 15-month old Little Banshee with me.

My mom came to visit and baked. :) We even managed to share some with neighbours.

Happy pre-Valentine's Day. I tried this photo shoot idea a couple years ago but it turned out too dark (I didn't know how to shoot manually).

She has current favourite books. We are required to read them several times before we can move on to other books.

It's been cold and crisp and the dry cough still lingers.

Our little snow bunny. She can walk on her own but the snow is pretty slippery so she wants to hold our hands.

She loves to "model" random pieces of clothing she finds. Then she does the loop. It's like a mini parade or fashion show.

I got sick, then she got sick. Trying to catch up.

My cards arrived today; it was very exciting. The pearl paper and coated finish is worth the extra cost - better than the recycled paper. Ordering more today.
